Pic denotes a hard, jagged slide downward... Rough ride for the man up top.

In a joking vein, the emissions are OK down at near water level. Foot level not nose...
Actual truth: 1st time into LA, 1957. Caught the San Bernardino Freeway at Colton and looking forward. Appeared as a few feet high roll or bar of gloomy cloud about a hundred feet above. Above that you could see various configurations of the usual atmosphere. Sort of driving under a shadow, all way in. My first encounter with "strange" situations in CA. Next was the "williamed" bar dancers on the bar top at the bar around the corner from the Ann Lane Hotel. Very impressive for this young man.

This aint no bunch of 50 pound 12 volt Lead acid batteries with a couple of terminal posts with a wingnut and strap to hold in place. It is most likely the better part of a day to swap out the pack. Most shop I am aware of have a shop rate of about $125 per hour.

After some of the cables are disconnected, the car is lifted up and the battery pack is dropped out from underneath. It is about the size of the passengers compartment floor. Then the new pack gets put in it's place. And all the High Voltage stuff gets connected back up.

This school got a brand new one and tore it apart..........
