Well there lies the problem. I have zero self control. Love to eat. Had three different companies bring us food today. Ate like a pig. I did south beach diet one time. Was losing a pound a day. I found it all and them some.

Beautiful afternoon to work on the rig.

Chasing some wiring problems on the trailer. Went to do a light check on saturday to get back out on the road this week . didnt have marker lights or brake lights.. Figured my problem was in the rats nest of splices on the tail lights.. Nope.. Although i discovered that this isnt the first time the trailer has had a problem because there is alot of hack jobs back there.. Traced it back to the junction box and a couple wires fell out of pins on the connectors... Figured that was the problem.. (Definatly part of it, but not the main problem.)Spent all day Sunday and yesterday sorting thru it....

Long story short ended up chasing the light cord all the way to the plug and found where it goes from the neck to underneath the trailer, the rubber gromet fell off on the hole the cord is ran thru and the trailer frame rubbed a hole thru my marker light and brake wire...

so ordered a new cord and decided to rewire the whole trailer while im at it...

Built some weatherpack connectors for each trailer light...gonna do the same for all the splices instead of the heat shrink connectors.. imagine if they built it like this from the factory... Wouldnt run into these types of problems... Atleast when i get done with it .. It will last a long long time. Probably have to change the lights before i have a wiring problem again.

I honestly dont mind wiring work. Its pretty easy, atleast for lights... sometimes a pain to track down problems. Not to mention the steady diet of dirt/road grime and rust flakes into the eyes and face gets old after awhile .. between this trailer and my flatbed, i think i about burned out the bulb in my test light lol
