    The OM estimates we have probably 2 weeks worth of food at the house, and another 3 to 5 days worth in the truck, but I'm being sent to the store, for moar stores, before the panic buying starts.

    Lorrie was obviously raised during the depression era ( kidding she is only 40ish) because we have enough food stored to last months. She has 2 big chest freezers in the garage packed and can stuff. We have a backup generator with enough propane to run it for about 60 days. So bring it on. lol

    Well we have our shotgun chambered in 3" magnum with an 18" full choke for when that 0100 knock on the door happens.

    Rules for If you are unfortunate enough to have to shoot someone with a shotgun.
    1. Only have Bird Shot loaded -it's good enough to take down any 150lb to 300lb animal at 10ft to 25 ft.
    2. Say nothing to the LEO about what happened, just tell them you're in shock and will cooperate fully (once your attorney can talk with them). Until then KEEP YOUR MOUTH SHUT.
    3. You Never intended to kill the guy You Were Afraid for Your LIFE and just wanted him to stop. You Can Not Kill Someone to Protect Your Property only to save your life or someone else. (that's why you had bird shot loaded and not man killer OO buck shot in the shot gun)
    4. Aim to Shoot him in the crotch it will be a belly shot from the recoil and adrenalin running through your system (there is no other gunshot wound that hurts more than a belly shot, and he will take a very painful 10-15 minutes to bleed out and die a horrible death and there is no saving him at Hospital.
    5. Remember #2 from above.
    6. Rember to take the shotgun off from the safety when you first pick up the shotgun.
