See if the infusion lab has any ice cream. It's a closely held secret but some hospitals keep a good stock on hand just for chemo patients. At Rideout in Marysville they gave us as much as we wanted. Same thing at St Joseph's in Eureka except they were chincy and only had one flavor.
Have they got a cath port stuck in you? They're a PITA but sometimes they don't give the patient much choice. Mine was in almost a year and since I usually wear suspenders it was awkward.
Any word on how many rounds of chemo they're going to want? Will the radiation be concurrent with the chemo or are they going to wait til after?
Don't forget the ice cream. Hey, you're entitled. You're a customer.

Well, sure as **** stinks, they booked me on a load to Jacksonville for today.
I texted them back yesterday afternoon and said, "are ya'll not aware that they're having a hurricane in the morning?"
They pulled it off me but didn't give me anything else.
So, here I sit.
