The whole economic system is getting more upside down...Expensive advertising for merchandise not necessary for everyday living or enjoyment.. Gotta be new, different, imported glamorous. Those who aspire to this level, want pay increased to allow them to purchase, on a 4 day week. Nothing wrong with a well managed 4 day week, provided the necessities for Friday, Saturday and Sunday are there. But then, you are back to that complaint of more work those 4 days..... Ah, that is the catch... Gotta WORK... Nothing is produced and made available on the market, from food, power, and required liquids without work.
I think the increase in homelessness is the forerunner of of what will confront many people in the next year. Go to work, or go homeless.

Not going to be an options tho... The economy as of now, cannot continue to absorb the state and city ability to provide for them...

Sure, a four day week is fine and dandy for the salary people.

But what about those us who actually have to earn our pay? :biggrin_25510:

A pox upon that “four day work week” talk. I take six when I can get it.

6 day week is fine except during crappie, golf, bird hunting, elk killing and sporting clay season— then a 2 day is stretching it

My own personal take on this:

Okay, you have a cold ham and cheese sandwich.

You heat it up, microwave, fry pan, sandwich grill, toaster oven, whatever.

It is NOW a "hot ham and cheese sandwich". Although yes, it was made from cold cuts.

    YMMV.

    Well…
Lil girl played one of those $1.00 teddy bear grapple machines, actually had the bear but it jerked and fell and didn’t get it.

    So another $1.00
    Nope. Nada.

Me being such a jerk, but yet a softie had to go buy her a teddy, I could not make myself leave without her one.
