    Dang it’s still hot here. Looks like the low will be 73°. I feel bad that my truck will probably idle until I wake up at 4 am.

    Company truck with no APU. Otters cab will probably have ice in it by morning.

    I idle my truck all the time. I have no qualms about it. But if the temps cool off enough that I can shut it off and roll the windows down I usually sleep better.

    But having an apu kicks ###.

    I’m going to sleep now. That means I can get 8 hours of rest. As @Dave_in_AZ points out I’m still 2 hours from being safe. My clock resets about 20 minutes before my pickup. I’m in their yard.

    You sure? Cause I've never once used a pee bottle in 14 years. I don't use my truck for a toilet.

    But if you post a pic of your truck I'll oblige you. If I'm going to be accused of something I'd at least like to commit the act.
