Today's battle royal will be a pitched battle between the Hippy Ogre and the invading blackberry tribes.
A foot hold was established yesterday by Ogre. This morning has seen a perimeter recon and softening attack. Followed by an assault from the east.
After lunch the attack will continue toward the south.
It's going to be a long battle that may go into a third day so only high-lights and low-lights will be posted.
What if it Snows?

except that there is autonomous trucks running down the road as we speak. as well as autonomous cars.

That is disturbing to read. I hope you are wrong. I know there has been some messing around with smaller vehicles, but I had no idea there were trucks. That's scary to me.dwells40, hope not dumb twucker, D.Tibbitt and 3 others Thank this.

I was about to ask if you welded the inside of the flange until I double checked and saw the last picture. It certainly looks good at least.
Now here’s a silly question. Are the the flanges square?
Slip flanges can be tricky to square up.77fib77, homeskillet, JolliRoger and 6 others Thank this. -
Scary is an understatement of the level of terror I feel about the emerging reality. I'm kinda glad when I read about this Embarks eminent failure a couple of weeks ago.

More direct high level of concern for me is that Daimler (Portland, OR) and Kenworth (Seattle WA Area) have both asked to test their autonomous offerings on I5 in WA and OR. I am about half way between the 2.dwells40, JolliRoger, IH9300SBA and 5 others Thank this. -

For on the road yes I agree.
I think the more practical early use will be shuttle and yard trucks. There would be major financial motivation to replace the trucks that run around inside the ports and rail yards with automated shuttles.dwells40, IH9300SBA, Dale thompson and 4 others Thank this.
