Many road trucks are now equipped with an inter-differential lock. Only locks the front tandem to the back tandem. Typically no locks left to right. Can be useful in limited circumstances.
Trucks ordered for a more non-highway environment (Dump trucks or truck used to deliver equipment) may sometimes be equipped with a second lock or 2 for left right locking.dwells40, Dale thompson, Dave_in_AZ and 5 others Thank this.
