My kids left R/Rock, TX several year ago, and I have not had reason to keep current on TX law since....
However; at one time, the law allowed for a wide interpretation for extreme actions, predicated "on during the hours of darkness".
Basically, you could awaken, peer out your window, see the thief jimmying the pickup door, dress, arm up, come down, get into wife's car, follow the fool down to the first stop sign, shoot his ###, and walk... Had to be dark and you constant trailing. Anyone with more current or alternate interpretation, chime in...

 

Good Orderly Direction could well have been Astral Projections in the Forms Of Alien Entities or Sentient Beings constructing Life Forms in Specially constructed Labs on Living Planets. Think MATRIX Evolution.
