It's not about the miles. It's about what makes you smile.

If That truck isnt governed you should just about be able to cross the entire country in 3 days... Its a 1992, so you could do it in 2 days if you know how, and are willing, to run multiple logs... Not that I'd suggest such a thing...

I don't think it's governed. I had it up to 90-95mph a few months ago chasing down a drive line vibration. I really want to make it to California and back. I just think that would be cool to be able to say I did it. I just wanna show up at a truck stop in the kw with all the lights on and chime polished up nice and tell everyone it's my first day lol. Yea...I was thinking about going with cre but then I got this...lol

Dont Go to the truck stops with really tight lots... You wont like trying to back a 53 footer into a tight hole with that long truck if there is another row of trucks 50 feet from the first... It can be done, but trust me it is not fun.

That is honestly my biggest fear. Not to toot my own horn...but beep beep mother ####er.....I can back really well being a city driver for 20 years because I spend more time in reverse than forward but a short lil single screw day cab makes it soooooo much easier. I drive at night now so I'm gonna try to plan most of my driving at night (obviously this will depend on appointment times) so I'm hoping that when I get to truck stops/rest areas there is a lil room to let me goal 514 times as I back into a spot lol.

No Cali for you. Unless you can get an exemption. Truck is too old.

That wilting happens when the DEFf trucks go past.

Just adjust your target to Washington or Oregon? Then you get to see Volcanoes, trees, and the start of Autumn.....

Yeah running at night will alleviate alot of your parking concerns... With a very few exceptions in (major metro areas) there are always parking spots available at 0800... One of the reasons I really like running nights myself. And parking doesnt seem to be as big of an issue once you are west of the Mississippi... But I dont know the southern corridors (like the I-10) either, so it may be a different story down that way.
