I had woken up earlier. Fooled around a little waiting to get tired again. Found a storm coming into KC. I was an hour north. Found nothing at all for OKC. So I took off at 2am to beat the storm. Rode front edge most of the way. Finally got achy tired. Pulled off in service center. Just north of Wichita. I got time. Can sleep an hour or so. Avoided all the ice.

You don't have to worry about losing chains over Donner at the moment. It's closed.

I'd take the snow over this cold spell we've been getting for the last two weeks. been -40C almost every morning for the last ten days. I'm over it already.
Lepton1 and Dave_in_AZ Thank this. -
The people that get to officially guess the weather seem to have been some what wrong. Yes it is a bit cold, but the sun is out. Could have a quick cold snap with a small chance of snow fall, less than an inch. Then back to mostly sunny for several days.
Really need this. My truck is so nasty. It needs a wash, then it could use a wash after that. Just been too cold for that. -
