When I was a kid on the ranch there was an old single room, dirt floor, log cabin way up on the summer range. All around the inside of the lowest logs were bullet holes ranging from .22 to .45 caliber. Couldnt for the life of me figure out why they were there... Until I spent a week living out of it. Place had rats.

As I was told, there used to be an old cowboy that lived there during the summer while tending to cattle and fences... Apparently he hated rats and would shoot at thier sounds in the dark at night.

I haven't laughed this hard in a long time. A Cascadia hauling logs. That's a good one.

 

I am heading out to Prairie City Saturday to watch the Hangtown motocross race. Can't wait didn't make it last year.
