What if it Snows?

My bet on the reason for sleeper trucks is resale value and ease of sale. It is much easier to sell a low mileage sleeper truck than a day cab.

Also may work better for the drivers, gives them an office/break room (with A/C) to hang out in if there are delays at a customer. When I was home every night doing port work the sleeper was nice while sitting in line to keep out of the sun or nibbling a snack.

 

Whats a good way to see some of the country and at the same time make good time going to vegas from atlanta?

I'm visiting my mom in southern Florida. Nice to see her, but her cat is sick. Took the 13 year old sweet siamese cat to the vet. Steroid shot and antibiotic. The cat has fluid in a lung and is breathing fast because of it. There was a Scottish vet student in America for 6 weeks observing the visit.

There is this thing called the Grand Canyon in your way for making an efficient trip. You have just a couple of choices out to PHX area, then run north. Or Canyons from NM/CO to UT, I15 washed out a few year back and may be problematic on this route.
