They aren't meant to be to be a Cat's everyday Diet, we used them as a Treat/Snack

 

I crushed it up and mixed it with something mine liked! Like Salmon!

 

what we use for hair balls and cat barf is feed them (5 Cats)- Iams in the pink bag for sensitive digestion and skin and we still need this stuff for the cat barf. This morning woke up to cat barf on a pair of jeans.

I tried that once with two pills she was supposed to take.

Ground them to powder. Put it in her favorite.

She took one bite, then said," Oh hell no."

She's good now.

It's just much more complicated with the insulin.

If she eats, I give her the medication, then she pukes, real good chance she goes hypoglycemic.

This is way bad.

She could also already be on the border of being hypoglycemic, this cause upset tummy.

So I run her a little high.

Like now, she scarfed the rest of her dry with the moist, and she seems good, so we'll skip this mornings shot.

 

I know. Same here.but the one works pretty good to fight hairballs. Also used so we can distract her to go out. Don’t feel like trying to chase her if she gets outside and runs. Plus she’s an inside cat. And her first family declawed her so she can’t really defend herself.
