I kind of like owls. Anything that targets mice and snakes is good with me.

 

You can shoot/kill them — just don’t want to get caught— Desert Screecher’s are a different breed, they don’t move on like most -once they establish their cubbyhole they protect and defend it— not a bad bunch to be around, just loud and different

 

Thinking that you got a mated pair which means that you and the OM are gonna be grandparents pretty soon

 

Owls are very cool. We had one around the house. Would sit in the big tree in the back yard.

 

We have a pair of big horned that set up shop in a big pine tree in front of the house— they say good night about 2300 and good morning around 0430 or vice versa

 

We have a dead one over by the garage.
Something pretty much bit out it's midsection.
Other scavengers are making pretty short work of it.
