I asked The OM if I had possibly gotten lost, and we were in Indiana, Michigan, or OH-HI-OH, because it was so windy as well.

The OM said," It's not raining, so we're not in OH-HI-OH. And mosquitoes aren't trying to carry the truck away, so we're not in Michigan."

She did not however rule out Indiana.

We DID get a little tain yesterday....barely enough to wet the roads. Really light sprinkle for about two hours. The overcast sky helped keep the "humidity discomfort index" below "Florida" levels.

With the humidity, Waco at 85 degrees seems hotter than Phoenix at 110 to me.

Many years ago I got out of the truck in Flagstaff, AZ.

    It was 107°.

I could feel the moisture leaving my body as I walked to the little store.

I drank a 16-ounce Coke when I got inside the store.

I bought another one for the walk back to the truck.

I finished it before I got there.......

Well, being as it's Saturday, and hot as f outside, and I've had my coffee and a brownie-enhanced breakfast, it's time for a nap.....

When it is this hot outside it make both iced tea and cold beer taste much better.
