Maybe California can now rent snow by the yard on a time limited use. Say 10 days max for.. 1000 dollars a yard anywhere east.

Arkansas is flipflopping. Again.

This much I know for sure. I-40 east of Little Rock into White River, Brinkley, Memphis etc will experience high water. Maybe some flooding. First at Des Arc then Geo.Town then J'Boro. For us in US 67 we get it first at the UP RR bayou between Cabot and up to McRae At that point we need about 8 to 10 inches of straight rain within 12 hours to push this water over the US 67 flooding two to four feet deep in three places.

All that water starts to gather near 107 west of Vilona and funnels through two small 30 foot two lane bridges on highway 5 as it rolls south and east to the big bayous that Austin, ward, Cabot and Beebe depend on along with McRae for flood control to keep US 67 open. We can take 8 inches in 14 hours but not 12 or less hours. It will flood the freeway near ward and austin in two places three feet deep within 16 hours. And most absoluely close US 67 Jacksonville in a hour flat. You can pretty much expect waist high between walls with a great deal of property damage when it rains like that.

Here is the problem US 67 is being replaced to become I-57 in a couple of years. The rains we are getting will be enough to flood US 67 for about a 6 mile section between walls. Where there are construction walls, water WILL NOT DRAIN.

Closures have begun already in Batesville, Black River, White River and two others whose names escape me at the moment. (Red is one) The black is the more dangerous of the 4. Although the white is where crossing I40 near Forest city.

Actually Divorce.

Reno is the Divorce Capitol of the Nation of all time. Nothing is said about anullments, they are strictly focused on just Divorced.

I understand Reno was not much more than Forestry until about the 1868 or so following the Trukee River. There is additional railroading in the region Virginia City and a couple of others come to mind. Tweetsie would be one of the lines used. Such riches too. Comstock Lode Mine I believe is not far from there. The richest ever. Nevada is Silver. I believe we are beginning to evolve silver a little beyond it's natural limits seeking out new compounds or alloys possibly either to do extremely small work inside our own bodies fighting bacteria (The bad kind) or even virus if we are brave enough to penetrate that. Or the other way to find new higher resistance to melting if not to discover possible totally new alloys in which we may evolve everything like truck frames, wheels etc further in it's technological limits. Possibly for war purposes. Which would be unfortunate but we have been neglecting bad while our new enemies seek dominance.

 

I know they are letting the Sacramento River flow near it's capacity. You'd think in a drought they'd save that water.

What about the fish and little crustacean type creatures that are being displaced?

Actually they are saving the dams. They cant fill a dam full. The only way they can is to let it happen slowly over time. Flood waters are best to let flow, as flood waters tend to carry alot of debris. Tho you can bet that if the people in charge know that a rain storm is going to end by a certain amount of time? They will calculate when they will close the flood gates and try to contain as much as is possible. Yet dams like to fill slowly over time as opposed to a sudden rush. Also dams are there to resist how much water flows, compared to what it was like before the dams had been built
