Evidently you and I would think so, But then again we would be smart enough to do a ground water recharge system using the runoff.
Meh they are used to being displaced. There is a transition between salt and fresh water in the delta. It moves depending on water flow and tide. There are some species that rely on that dynamic. So the massive run of may be good for that micro-ecology.

If it doesn't line the pocket of someone influential (or a friend that can generate a significant kickback)? No not really.

Holy crap. That stupid hillbilly groundhog was a little off this year. Currently trying to flee the state of West Va. I don't think there would be this many warning signs for a nuclear attack.
Another ice age is sneaking up on us and I'm spending 2.79 a gallon on cat pee. Either way I'm getting the f out of here. Stupid groundhog.

Maybe a nuke attack all out and prperly burning off anything truly dangerous will sort the earth out pretty. It might be a while but it'll come along nicely.

I think we are in for a hot spring, one that will bring out everything too fast.JUst well. The ground has not done well last winter.

I read where 230,000 people were killed in China when a dam collapsed. Think it happened in the 1970s and the kept it a secret.

If it's a secret, how come you know? Where is the humanitarian outrage? I don't believe you.

The Chinese dont like to admit to their mistakes, to them its considered "bad face".
I would love to see a early spring. A long hot summer. And a warm autumn that ended mid April 2020 GRIN
