Finally rolling again, just one short trip then stopping for two more days for doctor appointments. (This is the part of getting old I hate. The rest is pretty good.)

Load couldn't pick up till after 20:00 so I did that and drove just another hour to the mothership rather than run all night, especially since I would have had to take a 10 if I drove straight through because it's a live unload and they only receive 12 hours a day.

Anyway, I get to the yard and roll down the window to back into a spot and smell hot brakes. I thought, geez, one of these trucks here has a problem. It was so bad that for a minute I thought it was from the Canadian fires again. Then as I was doing a post-trip I detected a hot brake smell and blue smoke from the vicinity of my trailer tandems. I can't see where the brakes are dragging, but obviously at least one wheel is. At least the shop will be open when I get up in the morning.

When you collect roadkill, outside cooking does make it fancy, even with a cheap grill.......

We've woken up from a Stage I rhinoceros.

The OM is lobbying for a snack.

I used to lose an F150 in the bar parking lot with only 20 spaces.
