Are you working again? I know you have had more than your fair share of problems.

News flash!!!! 5G is a city thing. Most of my county is still 4G. The carriers all say 5G available but it aint. Somebody put up a 5G node in the nearby town of a bit over 1k people and it is constantly overrun. At least T-Mobile has my property listed as 3G.

My bet is regionally demand increased more than 5g increased capacity. Poking around the net, a 5g antenna should be able to service about 1,000 devices. I think that the increase in connected devices has ate up all the increased capacity. The stereotype I have is a few years back Mom and Dad had cell phones..... that was it in a typical house. Now it's Mom, Dad, a couple for the kids, the TV, refrigerator, door camera, security system, smart house controller, cars, and a bunch of other crap.

Or to look in the truck. It has gone from a cell phone to driver's phone, business phone, e-log, wireless hot spot, the truck itself, and perhaps the refer trailer and load monitor/tracker.

Then there are still limits on the capacity of the 5g talking to the bigger pipes of the internet. The 5g could be connected to the net by Microwave relay, Fiber Optic, or by DSL/Phone line. One of the local telcos actually got some of the federal money for rural broadband and has started the contract bid cycle to bring Fiber-cable to the nearby town, not sure if they are coming down my street cause I am county not city.

HUH.... Most of the dudes and dudettes that I knew that strolled the path of the Krishnas did so for the weed and the hot hippy chicks. Just don't mess with the weed supply and there was no need for violence.

No…I attended my 5th celebration of life this year yesterday ….
Renewed insurance last month and registration is due next month.Truck just had a state inspection and passed with a couple of minor repairs. Not in a rush because of the way things are in the industry. But I do plan on coming back

There has been no 3g service anywhere in the US since late last year.

The problem with 5g is that the range is much more limited than 4g due to the higher frequencies used. 5g also does not penetrate buildings as well or even at all, so even though it has greater bandwidth, it is limited in range.

The creation of IoT started with LTE really, and it's only going to increase as the powers that be appetite for control over every tiny aspect of life grows.
