I'm between Cortez & Durango just off of Highway 160. Our elevation is 8,600 feet so we are used to snow but this past storm was a record breaker.

This is a picture from our yard in North Dakota several weeks ago. Probably best if we leave it out of our recruitment ads.

There should be a steam railroad line up there. I wonder if they were still operating these days.

Arkansas situation is getting noisy this morning ahead of schedule.

Petro in galloway east of litte rock is getting hammered for the next hour at least. Situation is gotten messy.

The main front is still coming out of Ok and Texas but I think it took a skip and the main show will be Memphis tonight.

We had 39 inches in our back yard central maryland in the 93 noreaster. When the winds finally quit 3 days later it was 50 to 65 foot covering two story houses. Ours was covered with exception of fireplace chimney.

I was on the road with my old ford on the 5th day to the truckstop in Frederick. Slush was two feet on the interstate Mt Airy area. That is where those hard tread compound michelins paid for themselves. I am a little older and wiser now but it was quite a storm.

    There's an inspiration...
