    This man recently passed away. When I was a kid, he had a '69 Chevelle with a 454 with a blower that lost only one quarter mile race, to a Super Bee, one race out of three. He won the other two. Fastest car in Iowa. He would bet $500 on a race, when $500 was worth $500.

    He went through a lot of transmissions. I remember once he put a Lenco in that car and gave my brother a half mile head start in a mile race to test it out. My brother was driving Dad's '72 Marquis with a 429. Lorrell passed him when my brother had gone a quarter mile and the Chevelle had gone three quarters of a mile.

    We had to chain up the tp in all the park bathrooms in Austin. Backin the 80’s. I always thought that was odd.

    Shockingly I effed up the cornbread. Apparently an expiration date of 8/21 is too old.

    Not really, dry ingredients really don't go bad...as long as they stay dry that is.
