Awww congratulations.

 

Well it is sheetz so kinda expected.

 

I'm currently stuck on some mountain somewhere on I-68 in Western Maryland. There is a crash on the road ahead of me and it looks like somebody may have jackknifed their trailer.

 

I posted this on telegram for all the pads.


To all new drivers who are not familiar with real trucking, using a CB, or communicating at all with other drivers……you better get familiar with what you are doing pretty quickly. This isn’t like the garbage freight hauling /Amazon Relay you came from that tolerates your ignorance.


If you don’t know what the hell you are doing, stop. Ask questions. Ask for help. Call the company you signed on with and get better instructions/training.

 

Just a wee bit chilly. Dispatch has been keeping me in the south not used to this ####.

 

I’ve been sitting in staging for 4 hours. First it was due to slick roads. Then came the school bus curfews. Should be able to leave at 8:15. After I deliver I am heading home. Only two loads. Very unproductive night.

 

Good plan warm and safe. Maybe hide from Greta, so you don’t have to have a talk about what your gonna do. Need more than that if she’s late.

 

I have been idling this entire time. She’s gonna be pissed. And I spilled some oil during yesterday’s change. I’m a dead man.

 

Still haven’t told her what I haul every night. If she ever finds out I’m involved with fracking her head will explode into a thousand pieces.
