Feel free to chime in if you got other things for this list.....

There were a bunch of little tweaks to the federal laws around lights and stuff in the '60s and '70s. Makes for a good way to figure out what year cars are.

1965 required reverse lights. Early production "1964 1/2" mustangs did not have them down on the panel below the rear bumper. The ones to 1965 spec did.

1968 required side marker lights, 1969 required side marker lights and reflectors. 1970 required blinkers to be visible from the side. Import cars got a 1 year delay on those.

1967 had a higher minimum bumper height. Some did not get around to implementing it till '74. Required some importers to do major body redesigns. Jaguar XJ6 is a good example of this.

    73 required the taller bumper.

74 was the year that unleaded was started.

Don't remember the exact year that the "energy absorption" bumpers ('73 or '74?) and then the dreaded "5mph bumpers" were required and those were what pushed us to the plastic noses on the cars of the '80s.

The OM and I feel like when the new administration comes in that In N Out should be investigated and charged with fraud for impersonating a hamburger restaurant.

The lettuce on that one wanna be burger was so thick, you could keep one in your truck, and use it to drive your dual up on so you could put your chains on easier.

We have trees and lakes. We can also go outside in the summer and not look like @austinmike has been making toast.

1973 had the Bubba lower lip bumpers. I had a 1973 Chevelle that had it.

Matchbook cover used to get the points really close back in the day. The meme wasn't directed at you personally.
