The pass was not the hard part. The 40 miles on Oregon 78 from that little coup where US 95 splits to the other side of that mountain range, wtf snowing, no plow, no road lol, started the day.
Then like 50 miles east of Bend, same thing, but white out 0 visibility. Took 3 hours from there to the first chain up spot at the bottom of Old Fujnuts.
And if you don't use the first chain up area, you have already made your first HUGE mistake. -
At least they got the train back down to Eugene.

Getting a first hand look at some of the downed trees, and snow, the snow is super wet and heavy. The trees are just being toppled from the weight. Probably the sick ones. There's WTF wind too.

There was a big power crew working on lines about 10 miles east of the dam but west of Detroit.
US20 is closed where it splits because of downed lines.
