This is where you unchain where the snow is like only 8 feet deep. It's 20 at the top.

The pass was not the hard part. The 40 miles on Oregon 78 from that little coup where US 95 splits to the other side of that mountain range, wtf snowing, no plow, no road lol, started the day.

Then like 50 miles east of Bend, same thing, but white out 0 visibility. Took 3 hours from there to the first chain up spot at the bottom of Old Fujnuts.

And if you don't use the first chain up area, you have already made your first HUGE mistake.

Getting a first hand look at some of the downed trees, and snow, the snow is super wet and heavy. The trees are just being toppled from the weight. Probably the sick ones. There's WTF wind too.

    Blu_Ogre and InTooDeep Thank this.

Over 13" at my place south of Eugene. Power has been out for 3 days now. Started snowing again this afternoon, going to continue until morning it seems.

InTooDeep, okiedokie and Dave_in_AZ Thank this.

There was a big power crew working on lines about 10 miles east of the dam but west of Detroit.
US20 is closed where it splits because of downed lines.

It's really wtf snowing at the top lol.

Lost one of our beautiful Leland Cypress Trees, maybe more when we're able to get a clear assessment.

Probably not a good time to ask, but is the drought over?
