Hey all, I've been gone from here some weeks now, not caught up at all. I've got some sad news to share. My big brother, @LoboSolo, passed away this week. Apparently he had just gotten home from work when he collapsed and passed quickly.

We talked a few times a week. I will really miss him. His daughter is devastated, of course. She's only 22. Mom is also.

I know I'm spotty in coming to this forum, but I thought I'd let you all know since some here may remember him, and this is really the only place he and I had shared friends.

I forgot, the other day in VA, the fng asked me if 58 was restricted, it was getting narrow.

Told him if you’re already on it, means you didn’t trip plan.
And it’s length restricted but you should be fine, but get ready for going down a mountain, you’re over there in fancy gap mountain range.

Then told him to call me, if he made it.
he told me i was very helpful to his nerves.
I thanked him.

Lot of death going today.
My sister, who hadn’t talked to me in last 3-4 years called, didn’t even have her number in my phone, told me our uncle died.
I made her mad when i said, “it couldn’t have happened to a nicer sob.”

When mom(his sister) died in 16, i spent two days trying to get ahold to tell him, finally got his wife, could hear him in background, he never came to her funeral and didn’t want to talk to me,
So as the Cold Cruel Blackhearted Judge said, “That’s no big loss.”

But i realize some families are more close than Mine, so i’m sorry for your loss.

Lots of possible death pending. I have a sister in CCU now since last Sunday. 92 years old. Has been in assisted care for dementia for last 2 years. I visit with her almost weekly.It is strange, she lights up and smiles when I go in, we talk about how are you feeling...Glance at the window.. say,It is nice, today.
She will look at the window and agree, saying Yes, the sun is shining. And she cannot remember what she had for breakfast. She is only with you in the moment under discussion.
Her daughter and SIL come down to visit. Daughter ask her if she knows her. Puzzled.. Daughter says, It starts with a "C" mother. Oh, you're Carol. Carol asks if she knows who is with her. She says no. I do not ask her if she knows who I am, just so glad she smiles and glows upon my appearance.
She may think of me as "That man that come over here to see me every week".
