Thanks for that Ray of sunshine.
I've already reserved a stool at the local watering hole next to the hotel.
When I had Christine, I was in almost every dealer in the US and Canada, because she had more demons in her then my ex wife.
    I've seen this movie alot.

I’m pretty sure you have gathered all the local intelligence required to make it as non-traumatic as possible

Just crossed the Mississippi River from Wisconsin to Minnesota and made this stupid U-turn designed by the idiots at Minnesota DOT to head south on 61. Couple miles later the dash lights up "Low coolant! Automatic shutdown in 60 seconds!" with the countdown clock ticking away. Wet all over the front half of the engine below the radiator, but no loose hoses apparent. Started it again and found the problem, big leak in the front top of the radiator. Didn't hit anything, grill screen is intact. It's less than 25k miles from the end of the warranty, so I reckon they miscalculated slightly on when the plastic would crack. Waiting for a tow, have no idea when they'll get here. Nearest Freightliner dealer is 50 miles away.

Next time they send me a load east of the Mississippi, I'm rejecting it immediately. Doesn't matter if it's only 50 miles. East is east.

At least it's sunny and not too cold.

Least it isn’t South or West Texas— that would be traumatic
