Aridzona likes to use the rest areas for DOT checks. Watched a truck blow by, had 3 sitting on the get on side. Lit that truck up before it even passed them.

I know it's not Throwback Thursday yet but I just stumbled upon this and don't want to forget to share it.

Wash the potato, dry the potato, wipe the potato generously with olive oil, salt the potato generously, insert the potato in any "Walmart type" plastic bag,
just tying the hand holds together, microwave the potato for 6 minutes, remove the bagged potato carefully (it will be very hot), slit the bag, roll the potato out on to a plate.

Do whatever you do to any other way baked potato while it is cooling. No foil, 10 minutes, from pantry to ready to eat.

(Devouring instructions available at a nominal cash charge.)

IMG_6389.jpeg Last of the wife’s most excellent homemade bbq pork chop. Delicious. Too tired to make a rice or potato side bowl thing. Plus the past date hasn’t stopped me yet. But tired. So had pfj prime rib beef stew as the side. Meat veggies meat. I’d say important things covered.

Orygun was playing with the open / closed sign today. It flipped to open just as we were going by.

There was barr in cruiser waiting at the on ramp at the other end of the coup for someone to blow the scale.

    Sad

The grass at the homestead has turned white again in typical spring like weather. The driveway remains clear and damp with temps expected to rise I believe the green shall return by evening.
