I don’t know — up against a couple of fat boys that do know how to cook.

Sheila's son Shawn is competitive chili cooker. He made it past some local round and is now is the next event in Flagstaff. I'm the taster when I'm home.

Strange rules. They go through the whole ordeal, and the contest is one or lost with one spoonful. I taste like the entire pot though.

You should have figured that out by now. They are like flowers. They grow in numbers as it gets warmer (along with the stupidity) and die off in the winter

Woke up in Yakima WA yesterday morning and it was 16 degrees and overcast. Fog so thick I couldn't see more than a couple of the white stripes in front of me, so I slowed way down. Started making my way south on 97 into Oregon. Snowed really hard a few times to the point it was almost white-out, but none was sticking. Finally got into California nearing Weed and the clouds broke. There was Shasta in all her glory. Makes the drive much more enjoyable when you get some scenery.
