Why Do Cats Bring You Dead Animals? Exploring the Reasons
    www.lifewithcatman.com/catman/behavior/why-do-cats-bring-you-dead-animals/
Although cats were domesticated over 10,000 years ago, their instinct to hunt for survival is still very strong. This is why many pet cats still like to hunt even though they are well-fed. They cannot resist the urge and often enjoy the hunt and chase, Mikel Delgado, Cat Behaviour Expert. Cats will bring their fresh kill back to your home because it’s their natural instinct to bring it somewhere safe to eat. It’s common for domesticated cats to bring home half-dead animals. This is because cats that are well-fed often hunt with less power than hungry or wild cats. There is no way to stop cats from hunting, but you could put a bell on their collar to scare animals away from them.
