Terrorist plots are mostly designed by the CIA from what I can tell. And I like my friend, but he thinks somehow if the government comes after its own citizens, everyone is going to kick the army's ### and that will be that. Any decent study of the history of Russia when the commies took over will disabuse a person of that idea. Suppose society collapses but the government does not. Once they have become openly hostile, life is hell and millions die.

People wonder why Putin started his interview with Tucker Carlson with a half hour lecture on Russian history. It's because Americans are almost completely ignorant of history, and the history they think they know is wrong. But yeah, let's send moar money and equipment and maybe personnel to fight in Ukraine or Taiwan or wherever. Hopefully these movements aren't the precursor to yet another hot war.
