The best part of truckin is coming home from the road to your family and then spending all week with them.. The worst part of truckin is saying goodbye and climbing back in that truck.. No matter how much times ive done it , it puts tears in my eyes each and everytime. maybe im a wuss but i know i aint the only one.

Had to take truck in to dealer for a warranty repair. Not the usual dealer. Before they would even start the check in, they took pictures of the truck, opened the hood, underneath, dozen all together. Asked about that, was told they do all trucks now, then explained if anything looks like it was modified, they refuse to work on it.

I've never done it full time but have filled in here and there and I like it. It always seems like you sit then have to move everything at once lol. It's basically a shell game with trailers, they say they need a 28', 45', or 53' on a door and it's my job to go find one that doesn't have a seal on it and move it to the door then find another to fill the hole of the one I just took so there is always trailers in the staging area. I pulled a rookie ### move twice and put 53s on the dock with the doors closed lol ....you can tell I'm used to roll up doors.

That's why I'm the yard guy now. When I hadn't seen my daughter for 4 days I was falling apart, I think it's the first time in my life I can say I was truly depressed.
