There is a bit more where that comes from.

Temps are falling below freezing, most of what was wet has been blow dried for what it's worth. It's only going to be 31 for high tomorrow give or take and down into the teens next two nights. Tonight down to 22.

My computer doubles as a 1500 watt space heater, changes the air in the house and heats it every 6 minutes. So there is that. There is three more space heaters and storm lanterns if need be.

Then I would need to find three large dogs. =)

    Pretty much.

You can use barley, wheat, corn, or rice (or more "exotic" grains) to ferment into beer. Using corn syrup in the brewing process isn't the same as using high fructose corn syrup as a sugar replacement. Budweiser's ad is scientifically misleading and hypocritical as they use "rice syrup".

If you brew Wheat, Barley, Hops etc in Wort, you eventually have your own sugar right there in the still. No need for buying corn or sugar replacements. All you need is time and some heat to it.

I do not drink beer much for decades, I lean towards schnapps and hard spirits, less trouble and more timely. (Ugh...) but I digress. Growing up around Taverns you would think I know what I would like in beer. We sold so many.

Still, you have to admit, it is a heck of a ad with a little Monty Python flavor.

The use of grain based starch derived syrup is to increase the fermentable/convertible sugars.
