The birds are shining, and the sun is chirping and I’m headed towards rain. It’s going to be a beautiful day.

Unloaded all my winter stuff and cooking gear into the truck And had and amazing dinner with my wife and son. We worked on his homework at the table in iron skillet. The little guy is so awesome. He then fell asleep in my bunk as me and my wife chatted away. Three plus months of being out on the road disappear in a heartbeat and it’s like I was never gone.

I would literally step in front of a bus for those two.

Sorry for the sappy post, not very manly, but I don’t care. I’m an truly the luckiest man in the universe.

I assume the truck owner reimbursed your wife for the trip to bring your chains to you. Also, picked up the check for dinner.

I feel ya man. I couldn't do 3mo away. I spent this whole week at home and its been fun.

Its also taken me 35min to type and post this because I had to dry my son off from his shower and chase him around while mom finished hers :D

I did get it the first time around. Just wanted to put a fun on it. The Dale Bozzio was a bit obscure, probably not that many people know or remember her.

Even on weekends that area can be a traffic nightmare.
In some ways actually worse than a normal week day.
