Part of the funk was last night they have a detour in Jackson Mississippi. It's probably no big deal if you travel that way a lot.

So then get CHECK ENGINE light. That's just GREAT. 2000 miles from nowhere on Sunday night with 350 miles to go.

SO, figured out how to pull up the code.

Code=Water in fuel

Just so happens I carry spare water separator and fuel filters. No one has the water separator but dealers.

Stop at a TA early this morning, the kid changes the water separator,
BUT
Doesn't have the keys to his tool box to get the filter wrench. And loses the O ring for the water separator for like 15 minutes. I found it.

SO

I says I gotta roll. About the time I was getting back on the highway, the code cleared.

 

My refurbished HP Notebook I bought for $170 several years ago will no longer play UTube. The new phone will, but, alas it may be time to upgrade to a $250 laptop. The horror.
