    spent a fair bit of time up the gorge in '17. Plan to explore more in coming years.

    the best scenery is on the state highways. just make sure to do it during summer LOL....and some of the roads can be very curvy and tiny with steep grades, not fun in the snow.... best thing about oregon is not only the scenery but most of the highways have very little traffic even during the middle of the day . and most the highways u can find a big pullout right next to a beautiful flowing river to take your 10 break. best sleep i ever got. its a great state to renew ur mind and always reminds me why i love trucking...

    Thats the other side of it. Oregon and even say above Redding Ca etc and eastern Sierras etc when it's snowed in it means SNOWED IN. like 20 feet or more. You aint getting through until spring or summer on some routes. Closed is closed.

    I remember running Lookout which is a little hill in Idaho roughly but sometimes their mid winter snow banks from the plow machines are higher than the semi truck. Something to think about when it's near freezing in the shade on the runoff under your tires.

    Its a warehouse in Dallas. We haul sheetrock out of there, which of course gets tarped lol. But no one tarps the lumber, well exept the Western Express guy I saw lol.

    Its a big state. Where you hangin out? Im leaving Houston today headed towards Amarillo.
