I usually keep it at 12.6 and it will stay overnight but this morning i woke up it was 12.1 with the bunk heater running all night. I turned the truck on and the inverter threw the low voltage alarm as engine was turning over. So i wonder if less than 12.6 is pulling on batteries

Now CRE is on the other side of me, and he's idling.

    And he's smoking cigarettes.

I mean if he wants to enjoy his final days gurgling from emphysema, more power to him.

    I don't.

I thought that was a brand new truck? How can the batteries be that weak already?

Amarillo sucked this morning. The parking lot was a mess of slush that got to fold up my tarps in. Good times!

Im at the Wes-T-Go in Tye (Abilene). Haven't been up here in awhile and got the full scoop on the latest customer and employee drama. Its awesome.

That was my exact thoughts this morning. It barely got 12k miles on it . but the batteries seem very weak compared to the ones in my cascadia

Not great, what is the output, small like 500 watts for a short time, should be ok. Anything more fire up the engine.

When your cranking the engine, you could pull them down to close to 10 volts for a short period. So it would trip low voltage on the inverter.

Batteries have a life span, they don’t last forever.

Good to know. It is a factory installed eaton inverter 1500 watts. Not sure how much power the bunk heater uses , i guess i could look in the manual
