    For clarity my bunk heater runs seperate from inverter. But i made it a habit to keep inverter turned on even with nothing plugged in ,so it will wake me up with low battery voltage alarm . it is no fun waking up with dead batteries when its cold

    All that should be wired to auto start when it senses the batteries dip below a certain level.

    Im not sure i have auto start. Though there is something called idle timer.i havent quite figured it out. I have no idea how to work all the technology in these truck. My truck dont idle between 30 and 65. Im just kind of worried when it gets real cold idont wanna end up stranded... Ill have to find out if i have the auto start or opti idle system

    CRE left. Now probably the only hole at the entire truck stop is next to me.

    Im not sure. The bunk heater and inverter are seperate i just like to monitor batteries with inverter so i dont wake up with dead batteries

    if the inverter is just at idle, it does not draw a lot of power. Seems not worth while to leave on when not in use. Then it may be a good idea to run the truck for the short time you do use it.

    Idle timer sounds like opti idle just by a different name.
