Some teens busted here trying to steal a car. They pushed it out of driveway then tried to drive off, but it was a standard. They decided to push it instead so the owner heard the racket & called the cops. Cops caught them around the corner& they told cops they were gonna hide it till they found someone who could drive it for them.

It will be a long time before we ever get any auto trucks (besides the yard truck I drive, it's auto) they cost money.

Those blizzards up north.. that's frightening.... not fun at all... :biggrin_25513: IMO that is... I am a tropical girl from Brasil and don't have too much experience with blizzards and icy roads.... Thankfully, never had one accident or incident on the road so far and I pray will never have one... but went thru many scary moments and scary hrs driving under extreme weather and dangerous conditions.... everywhere in America....
My very first experience in life driving under snowing conditions was in Washington at night on I-90... never seen snow hitting the windshield before and took me a while to realize those thick drops were NOT rain... :biggrin_25512: I couldn't even see where the road ended and the shoulder started... but there were supertruckers flying by me and blowing my doors... :biggrin_2552:
My former company was a mega, I would go anywhere and everywhere... But my actual company avoids sending us above I-70 during winter and avoids snow storm areas when they can... Nevertheless, 2 yrs ago, I did drive all night from east of Aurora, CO to Lyman, WY under snow storm... that was a trip to remember.... :biggrin_2552:

I stopped in Aurora, Oregon at the TA for the specific reason of getting a to go box.

    Denied.

It was 0630 and the buffet wasn’t even started. The north bound I-5 was closed due to an accident. The cook wasn’t there.

I almost cried. Oh the humanity.
