I only intended to come home for the weekend. If it wasn’t for TTR I’d have never known about the hurricane! I literally don’t watch tv and never turn on the radio.

Well, I reached the high point (or low point....as you will), of my slovenly laziness today and I don't feel bad.

So I bought this 2009 Ford Escape last May for $7000. It only had 70k on the clock and I thought it was a pretty good deal.
Well a year or so later, Ford sends me a flyer saying I need to have my oil changed. Well, by this time I only have 75k on the clock and I thought I'd just give it a minute.

Then, a couple of weeks ago they sent me another flyer saying that they'd come and get it. I said to myself, "Opus, it's time to jump."
So, I called them up and sure enough, they came and got it and changed the oil and rotated my tires for $65. I am so pleased because they brought it back too.

So, do I miss jacking up my car, putting jack stands under it, going to the parts store, buying the oil and filters, having hot oil run down my arms, cursing the last jack*** that put on the filter, jacking up the tires to rotate the whilst cursing the last jack*** that put them on?
    No, not a bit.
This is one of those occasions where you say, "Opus, that was money Well spent."

But I do feel the tiniest bit sorry for it. But I'll feel better in about 10 minutes.
