Well #### PG&E.

All the places I thought about staying tonight are within counties that PG&E is saying they’ll cut power too because of the red flag fire danger event. I’ve got no desire to be in any TS without power. What’s the point.

Well color me lucky. I’m at the last decent to go box place before the California border. And luckily I don’t deliver till Monday a.m so I’ve got an easy drive mañana to stay at the receiver.

 

I think PG&E has it made. All they need to do now is say they need to raise the prices to make equipment that is flame resistant. Then fail to deliver
Oh wait. That is what Emera Maine has been saying to us locals. DOH!

 

Sparks power company.

Up here they claim it was to make the wires storm resistant. Also claimed we werent making enough power for the state. Now we have a surplus of power. Yet the power companies want to build more. More than likely they can earn more tax credits.

 

PG&E issue is they can’t raise rates without approval. In California you can’t get elected to office if you say you’ll raise taxes, you also can’t say you’ll cut programs. ###### if you do...

PG&E I’m my very unlearned position sees this conundrum playing out.

Even with our unique issue and views were still the 5th largest economy in the world and my favorite place in the union.

 

Wyoming is fixing to get nasty starting tonight through Monday morning... Predicted 9"-18" of snow in places. I'm in laramie just long enough to complete a 30 and eat... Then back on the road to home... Hope to make Cokeville tonight.

 

What is is with yeti stickers on cars? Is there a cult of cooler and coffee cup followers that I'm not aware of?
