Well I can drive again at like 0230. If I can clear the 8000 foot hill of The Deevide and get past Rawlins everything will be just fine.

See, I knew you were good people. That's only an hour an some change from me and the sandbar.

Those cups are stupidly expensive. If I just paid 30 bucks for a cup I'd want a sticker to, then again maybe not...people would know I Have money to spend on silly things...39.99, 59.99...for a cup! No thank you. An no thank you to the phone that is cheaper than or equal to mortgage payment, rent, couple car payments, etc...There are times when I'm glad I don't drink coffee, whenever I see someone buying those cups is usually one of those times.

Yea...not for me. Good for folks who want to spend that kind of money, but hell, for 1200 I'll go buy a laptop, a tablet an a cell phone, oh and make a car payment.

An then people wonder why they want 15 bucks an hour to work at taco bell.....Keeping up with the Jones's is expensive. LOL

I ain't hating, but I got better things to spend that kinda cash on, or to invest it into.

Whatever works for others, but it's crazy to me, an I'll never do it. My cheap phone does everything I need it to do.

Far as fog...we do get it, an at times it's rough. Not always, but lots of times it is. I was joking with the wife earlier in the month how our property looks perfect for Halloween, fog rising up, spooky woods...an didn't cost me a dime. Mother Nature decorated. LOL. That said, we do get some "you ain't seeing ####" fog.

    Stay safe folks!

I used to take the Aurora ferry over to the Ocracoke ferry to go out to the sandbar almost every weekend to go fishing.

I think I'm one of the few that doesn't have that lol. I totally forgot about that one, I guess I have become numb to it. I don't even know what it is.

I enjoy it. Just hard to find good food sometimes. Usually the mom and pop truck stops have a good deli or resturant inside , it just sucks if i get stuck at a loves or place with only fast food. I will usually pick ramen noodles instead

It was very good to leave this apartment and walk a while... the phone booth at the new internet shop is not working yet... so I couldn't check my voicemail and call anybody in the USA... but went to the beach nearby and took some pictures... Then, I heard some good music and checked it out.. it was a small band of a lady singer and 2 guys... lots of happy drunk folks having very good time, singing, dancing.. I stayed there till the end of the show... And even met a guy whose brother is a truck driver in Brasil... so we exchanged numbers so I can get in touch with his trucking brother...
    Here are the pictures...
This is Forte Beach in the touristic city of Cabo Frio in the state of Rio... today was cloudy but nice temp and the beach was full.. these pictures were taken at 16:00 hr local time...

Lots and lots of tents selling food, beer and other drinks... it's totally legal to drink alcohol any time, any day, anywhere in Brasil.

    Peixe frito means "fried fish"...

    20191026_155204.jpg

There are vendors pulling carts selling food, fruits, drinks, all sorts of things...
