What if it Snows?

I’d be eyeing up that scag tiger cat, should be able to make a few bucks off it.@Daveinarizona may need it too when he moves to the o-h-io. The pleasures of grass cuttin Dave. Just to have to do it again in 2 days. Lol

 

Right, Catch, gut, skin, cut off head. cut carcass crossways in about 3/4 inch slices.
Beat up an egg. and keep in a used aluminum frozen pie plate close by.
Into a large paper grocery bag put 2 cups of corn meal, a tablespoon of black pepper and a teaspoon of salt.
Swish the pieces thru the beaten egg to coat; drop in the paper bag, grasp and shake and turn vigorously.
While you are doing this, the gallon of peanut oil should have been heating to just before burn,

Then drop the pieces in to the hot oil, they sink and bubble, and come to the top. Dip that piece out and drop in another.
Not too many pieces in at the same time cools the grease, pace it.

Dump the meal mix out into a bowl
Toss in a half cup of chopped up onions/
Add enough milk to make a thick batter.
With a wet spoon, form up a hushpuppy and drop in the still hot grease.
Remove when floats to top.

Fun to catch. Too big to eat. 12 inchers are the best eaters. The big ones tend to get mushy. But those 30/40 pounders out of santee are fun to catch
