Don't think they hold the contests anymore though. VA beach up the road a couple of hours does a big one during their "King Neptune" beach festival nowadays. Before the last hurricane there were folks out there making stuff. I think a dolphin and a shark. Not very original but hey, better then I could do. LOL.

Sort of funny story. Car dealer that i purchased current pick-up from. They called to let me know they had the plates in and could come in any time to have them installed. When i went in to get the plates, they wanted to put the dealers frames on. Said it would cost them $1500 to do that. They laughed, i said, no, if you want me to advertise your dealership, the cost is $1500, otherwise no frames with any advertising. Yep, no logos on the frames.

Yes. Its is it's own sovereign nation outside of the USA Borders.

Passports are about 110 now and takes some weeks to get it done.

Just one main consideration in Brazil, the Favelas, you will take care avoid them very wide.

 

Brazil looks like an awesome place to say the least. The architecture in some of the early pictures u posted @Rocks , it does not even compare to usa. Usa is very boring and bland even some of the older cities are starting to crumble into piles of bricks. Brazil looks very historic and vintage and very cultural

Music was GREAT! So good that I could not leave... just got a coco nut and sat down for a while...





Everybody super happy... dancing and singing out loud... the music was SOOO GOOD! Stuff that I know... from the past and the present... my culture.. and I LOVE BRAZILIAN MUSIC... the only 3 things that I miss from Brasil, is the food, the music and the weather...

The band played for over 2 hrs... all kinds of music, lots of styles, and rhythms... something for each and every taste...




There was a girl.. she was so freakin drunk... a few times she stood upside down on the floor near the stage... moving her feet up in the air... can you guys see it in the picture below..?
