It won't. It's supposed to go in the other direction.

Tractor pulls went from 2 or 3 boys bringing the tractors on Saturday evening and hooking an A John Deere to M Farmall to see who could slide the other toward him. Auto racing went from stock old 41 Ford coupes hot tuned and ethyl gas on a dirt circle lined with old tires as a guard rail to NASCAR.
Old light poles with a few floodlights around. Any southern town in the middle 50's, Saturday nite, just dark, look for and go to the dust cloud.
Saw it come and in passing. Won't prolly live to see much more change, but the way it is going, not worth staying for.

Yeah, notice the "Lack of other hardware." Surcingle's should have had stirrups. Think that is why Velcro was developed.

"A surcingle may be used for ground training, some types of in-hand exhibition, and over a saddle or horse pack to stabilize the rider's weight. It also is a primary component of a horse harness. A basic surcingle is unpadded, attaches around the horse by means of buckles or rings, and has no other hardware."

Gotta have something! I detest a dry sandwich of any kind! Arby’s Horsey sauce FTW!
