Well I pulled off. The 80 is a wreck due to a new fire. It’s close enough to where I’m going that I’m going to wait till the wee hours to go. I’m delivering off a different but close freeway and I can only imagine the mayhem taking place on a Sunday with weekend travelers.

Oakland Hills BLAZED back in the day. All the shacks went up in smoke, now it's all multi bazillion dollar homes.

Maybe abandon that whole region, call it firetown.

So no one lives there at all. Let it burn.

I’m just laughing at the drivers complaining about the wind where I’m at. It’s “maybe” blowing 30 knots. It’s going to rock me to sleep tonight. LOL

    SMDH.

It’s 70° and beautiful. It’s not like its blowing 60 knots on the I-80 in Wyoming and it -20°.

I dunno if big trucks are allowed on Lake Hermann Road or not, but I'd take that over to 780.

    Consider it.

Flooding. We flood over and over and over. Crying shame rebuild everything. Flood again and again.

Simply abandon known flood areas and live somewhere with good ground. We can do the same with fire areas.
