Not sure but it is my understanding you smell natural gas, (YES) but do not smell carbon monoxide gas . (NO)
Butane/propane is odorless; but they add something to propane to make it smell, so as you are around it you are aware.

A propane truck in a furniture factory where a lot of women work... Like Easter egg basket for an electric lift truck salesman.
The added odor nauseates most women initiallyu.

Yep one more reason why I prefer electric over propane/natural gas.

Beyond the facts that the Propane mafia up here is deeply entrenched and Natural gas is not available out side most city limits.

Buy this., it is adequate for a beginner. If you can learn to fully utilize it, prolly do for this area. You can get good, then upgrade. If you do not improve, still have an adequate bow. If you lose interest completely, smaller loss. Archery components are not exactly like guns....
