Seriously..... consider yourselves fortunate in Wyo.
Twenty years ago, Wyo. was seriously bad. They just plain did not plow the roads. They didn't care. Can't run is your problem.
I can remember driving through Cheyenne 20 years ago. There were only two lines in the right hand lane that were pavement on I25. The rest was ice. This was when both SD and Co. had clean dry roads for two weeks.
Wyo. is a world of difference now.

It wasnt that much better 10 years ago either. Looked as if the plows only cut all but the last 4 inches. No gravel of any sort.

No elds back then - people running against the clock.
Manual trannys - with drivers who respected the weather conditions & drove like needed.

Well this is embarrassing...I've seem to run out of fuel. Atleast my left tank did. My right tank has roughly 10-15gal in it.

But help is already on the way.

Pfffft! You didnt have my trainer Roy McMullen. He had me drive with weather conditions that were poor! The next truck at 30 mph was 20 feet off my bumper! I could only see his tail lights.
