It holds 270 American Gallons of fuel.

That's a bit scary. That's moar fuel than we've used the whoal time we've been at Landstarve.

Make them fill the tanks as part of the deal then, eliminate fuel cost altogether!

I can't imagine going through a scale house with that . That's just asking for trouble.

With that much capacity, you won’t have to fill up in the Communist states.

Ok without getting to far down a rabbit hole, yes snowpack has been lower than back in the day. I've skied for over 50 yrs. Personally I don't think humans have a huge part of climate change. I believe it's bigger than just us. The Climate/weather is always changing, for 10s of thousands of years. So there's that. Those WC races are held on man made frozen ice. The kind you can see fish in. Regular snow is to soft.

Sorry, I wasn't sharing because of any view one way or the other in regard to climate change, just that they were talking about Mt. Bachelor.

To your point - It would be tremendously naive in my opinion to feel that humans did not and do not have an impact on the climate. It is even more naive to think that somehow we can control what will happen in the future. Sure, let's do what we reasonably can to reduce our impact, but let's not pretend that paying a tax will fix the climate.

Remember the commercials when we were kids that had an older Native American gentleman looking at litter along the highway with a tear in his eye? That still sticks with me and I abhore littering, but that is something that we can easily improve on. Things like volcanos and meteors and solar flares, not so much.

A little tongue in cheek here, but has anybody considered that the erection of all the wind farms across the world might possibly screw with the rotation of the earth? Lol, unintended consequenes........

My bad. Bachelor is my home mt but I don't want to share 1 lift with 10,000 of my closest friends. I've always preferred mom & pop hills over mega resorts.
