What if it Snows?

Sheesh to say it is raining in dallas right now would be to put it lightly. Foggy and pouring and only about 40degrees . id rather have snow than this crap.

 

I believe you think you want snow. Trust me you do not want to deal with Dallas in snow......

No i definayly dont want snow and ice in dallas. That is the worst stuff there is . i was meaning id rather have snow than this crap, just not here lol rain and fog makes me more nervous than snow ever does. That is a crazy video, i was in dallas last year and it was ice all over the i35 , people sliding everywhere . somehow i managed to make it out of that mess alive. Never again.

 

I try to have a fail safe.

The real failsafe version by Dr Strangelove... 60's era. But anyway that legal pad is a failsafe. When you are absolutely zonked and not awake yet and want to move due to a stack of dispatch are you moving yet messages... (And good morning to you too boss...) you will want to have that paper on there so you can get it together and wind that gear before you drag it all over.

 

I delivered in near Ft Worth during that storm. Watched people hitting that ice and dang near bounce off the bridge. Was a drop and hook. I dropped then (thankfully no empties to hook) bob tailed to Waffle house up the block cause they had 24Hr hot food and coffee.... had to chain up to get up their drive way.

 

Seems some days that 14 hour clock feels more like 20.

Just had a clean level 3 coming into Las Vegas.

With a sample size of one this isn’t scientific, but officers are way nicer to landstar then they were when I was in WE truck. LOL
